Slow. Summer. Vibes. Entering the slow season of Summer 🌿

What’s helping me slow down this summer 🌿

It's already the end of July! How's your summer going?! Mine has been filled with some really great moments but it's all going by so fast! Don't you think?

It seems like we plan all the things, make all the lists, try all the things, DO IT ALL. Oh and don't forget to rest and take care too. And the days just zoom right on by. It can really leave you feeling a little burnt out.

That's why this summer, I've decided I’m done trying to keep up — Instead, I’m trying to slow down and listen.

To my body.

To my heart.

To my energy.
To the quiet voice that says,

“You’re doing enough. You are enough.”

Some mornings, I have the energy to braid my hair and water the plants. Other days, just making it out of bed feels like a miracle.
And I’ve decided — both are enough.

The world tries to get us to stay busy, distracted and unbothered by the state of our own bodies and minds.

But we've learned, self-healing is crucial to fighting the norm and staying on our own, authentic path.

Instead of pushing through, I’m leaning into little things that feel supportive and soothing. That ground me. That fill my cup.

And this month, I wanted to share them with you — in case you need a reminder too.

🌿 What’s Supporting Me This Month

📝 My Favorite Journal Right Now
This journal has been my soft anchor. It helps me stay connected to my thoughts, my vision and how I am truly feeling e every day — without shame. → [Going Within]

🌿 Supplements that actually help
I like to keep it simple. It's hot, the body loses water and essential minerals through sweat – including sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and chloride – replenishing those lost nutrients is an essential step to feel your best during long those hot days. These Daily Electrolyte packs are a life saver for me personally - you know your girl got issues lol → [Daily Electrolytes]

And as always, a great place to start supporting your body, digestion, and immune system → [Digestive Enzymes]

I'd love to hear what you think?

These are the things that help me slow down, stay hydrated, manage stress and feel safe in my body — and I hope they support you, too.

You deserve softness, rest, and healing…before you are burnt out, not if and when you feel like you deserve it. You deserve it right now. You are enough today, just as you are. And always.

Thanks for being part of this space with me đź’›

With love,

BRIGHTER RISING | BRIGHTER MANNER the self-care club monthly ✨Hey friend - a new month and our next chapter begins! ✨ Happy October! A quick note to say hello and give you some updates. Happy October! Healing isn’t just about “getting better.” It’s about evolving. About stepping into who you’re meant to be—with courage, resiliency, and a willingness to slow down and honor yourself along the way. Fall kind of reminds us of the same, doesn't it? We've been together for almost 6 years now and I...

BRIGHTER RISING | BRIGHTER MANNER the self-care club monthly You Are the Healer You’ve Been Waiting For Here’s the truth I wish someone had told me earlier: no doctor, no practitioner, no supplement, no fancy protocol can heal you unless you’re willing to show up for yourself first. All those years of eastern medication and getting lost in the real world living real life made me forget all about the importance of the body-mind connection. Don't even get started on what stress and nutrient...

BRIGHTER RISING | BRIGHTER MANNER the self-care club monthly It has been a while since I shared about my health journey. This is kind of long, but I know many with chronic illness struggle to have a quality of life, so I share my journey in hopes of inspiring you. Even when your illness cannot be "cured" - it can be better managed. I was diagnosed in 2015 with moderate to severe #gastroparesis, in addition to previous diagnoses of IBS-C, Migraines, Nervous System Dysfunction, and...
